And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

2 Corinthians 5:18-20

Not only did God reconcile us to Him, He also gave us the opportunity to partner with Him and help reconcile others to Him. We are His ambassadors of what He can and will do through a submitted life! We get to share His goodness, His mercy and grace through others. We are not stuck. There is hope. His name is Jesus and He wants to reconcile you back to a right relationship with your Heavenly Father. You don’t have to earn it or beg for it. Jesus gave His life freely, so that we can be free! We don’t have to earn levels or degrees in the Bible before we can share Jesus with others. All we have to do is share what God has done in our own life and how we wants to do the same for others.

This is what Christmas is about. The birth of hope. The coming of our Redeemer, the one who reconciled us. He is the light of the world shining through us. Shine His light, Friends, out into the dark world.

O holy night, the stars are shining
It is the night of our Savior’s birth
Long lay the world in error pining
Till He appeared and we felt worth
A thrill of hope for a weary world
For yonder breaks a glorious morn

Fall on your knees, hear the angel voices
This is the night when Christ was born
Fall on your knees

Truly He taught to love each other
His law is love and His gospel peace
Chains shall He break, the slave our brother
And in His name oppression cease

Sweet hymns of joy in a chorus raise
Let all within us praise

Fall on your knees, hear the angel voices
This is the night when Christ was born
